  • Acquire practical experience as a Retail/Supply/Distribution Manager.
  • Receive support to secure host employment in Retail/Supply/Distribution sector or launch your own Retail/Supply/Distribution venture.

Requirements:

  • Must have successfully completed Matric.
  • Successfully completed Admission multiple choice test.
  • Secured or own a retail shop or have a secured host employer.
  • It is advantageous for the learner to contribute financially towards their training.
  • Personality alignment with the programme's values.

Learners planning to operate a retail shop must:

  • Register their businesses with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and the South African Revenue Service (Sars)
  • Operate in a township or rural area
  • Uphold environmental health and food safety standards and the guidelines of the Department of Health
  • Participate in the RMK managed Retail Manager General or Supply Chain Executive learnership programme.
  • Be willing to participate in the bulk-buying scheme as organised by the RMK
